Communication

The key to successful projects—and satisfied clients—is communication. That means listening to the client and stakeholders, providing quality analysis of the project, setting appropriate expectations, accepting and valuing feedback and providing regular status reports.

As an example, a client who wants a document to impress board members or potential investors is expecting a very different product than a client who wants to document every facet of their software application. A client who anticipates challenges in getting people to adopt a new or enhanced tool may want to include feature and benefit statements throughout the documentation to reinforce the value of the tool. I can work with you to ensure that you get the most value from your documentation and training materials.

My extensive experience with varied projects enables me to better understand your needs, work with you to set and manage expectations, and deliver the results you expect on time and under budget.
